[[Lacan]] draws a distinction between [[aggressivity ]]and [[aggression]].

[[Aggression]] refers only to [[violence|violent]] [[act]]s whereas [[aggressivity]] is a fundamental relation which underlies not only such acts but many other phenomena also.<ref>{{S1}} p.177</ref>
