The Encyclopédie française was a French encyclopedia conceived by Anatole de Monzie and Lucien Febvre. It appeared between 1935 and 1966.

Lacan's article on the family (Les complexes familiaux dans la formation de l'individu) is published in the Encyclopédie Française.
