Histoire

Sigmund Freud désirait empêcher de trop nombreuses impostures de psychanalystes auto-proclamés. Sur une proposition de Sándor Ferenczi, il fonda lors du congrès de Nuremberg en 1910 l' Association psychanalytique internationale.

La formation didactique des psychanalystes ne fut imposée qu'en 1918.
