* [[Lacan]] enters the very select Collège Stanislas, a Marist college catering to the Parisian bourgeoisie, where he receives a solid primary and secondary education with a strong religious and traditionalist emphasis (1907-1919). He completes his studies in 1919. <!--- He attended a prestigious Catholic school, the Collège Stanislas, where he was recognized as a very bright pupil, although not exceptional. Lacan did however excel in religious studies and Latin.
