The group is open to the postgraduates across humanities, writers, artists, and academics interested in Lacan and his theories. In her biography of Lacan, Elisabeth Roudinesco describes (p.262) how Chapsal insisted that Lacan answer her questions in plain language that made his thoughts accessible to the general reader.
