Software upgrade

• 2005-01-07: Upgraded to version 1.3.9 of MediaWiki and fixed the upload system.

Server upgrade

• 2004-11-24: Apologies for the downtime over the past four days: the server was upgraded (accounting for the first two days) and we forgot to unpack the EvoWiki database when we got to our new home (accounting for the rest of the downtime).

Press coverage

• 2004-10-15: EvoWiki has been written up in a newspaper. See Megabits & Pieces by John Mitchell in the North Adams Transcript.

Software upgrade

• 2004-10-06: Upgraded to version 1.3.5 of the MediaWiki software. There will be few noticable changes in this upgrade.

2000th article

• 2004-09-26: The 2000th EvoWiki page has been created! The page is Argument from Silence by Thomas Kettenring, part of the encyclopedia of fallacies.

EvoWiki's first birthday!

EvoWiki was one year old in mid-August, we're writing articles at a rate just short of 2000 pages per year! --Steinsky 16:04, 7 Sep 2004 (BST)

Software upgrade

We have upgraded to the latest version (1.3.0) of the MediaWiki software. There are many major changes in this version. Unfortunately, due to a mistake in upgrading (for which I blame I bug in the upgrade software which messed everything up causing me to delete everything and start again), I managed to loose all the uploaded files from the past couple of months, sorry! --Steinsky 00:31, 21 Jul 2004 (BST)

Software upgrade

New database server

1000 Articles!

New domain name
