[[Jacques Lacan|Lacan]]'s first public [[seminar]] is held at [[Sainte-Anne Hospital]] soon after the establishment of the ''[[Société Française de Psychanalyse]]'' ([[SFP]]).
This was ---- It is concerned with questions of the first [[seminarpsychoanalysis|psychoanalytic technique]] such as those related to [[resistance]] held at , [[Sainte-Anne Hospitaltransference]] and [[interpretation|therapeutic efficiency]] following .  Taking as its theme the establishment [[technique]] of [[psychoanalysis]], within the framework of [[Lacan]]'s "[[return to Freud]]", it includes elaboration of [[Lacan]]'s notions of the [[symbolic]], the [[imaginary]] and the [[real]], the importance of [[speech]] and [[Société Française de Psychanalyselanguage]]'' (in [[SFPpsychoanalysis]]) and the first [[seminarinterpretation]] open to be put on the public[[mirror stage]]. It also includes lengthy discussions of the [[clinic]]al and [[theory|theoretical work]] of contemporary [[psychoanalysts]] such as [[Michael Balint]] and [[Melanie Klein]], as well as [[St Augustine]] and [[Jean-Paul Sartre]].
