Z-man

Kid A In Alphabet Land Meets the Final Z-man!
The Z-man marks the end of the alphabetic journey. He appears where ordering reaches its limit and no further letters remain to be assigned.
As a figure, the Z-man embodies closure without resolution. The series ends, but the concepts it traverses do not settle into harmony.
The Z-man thus stands not for completion, but for exhaustion—the point at which structure has been fully deployed and can only give way to repetition or return.
Within Kid A In Alphabet Land, the Z-man closes the circuit. Kid A reaches the end of the path, only to discover that endings do not abolish desire, but send it back to the beginning.
